Phyzi Kidz treats babies of all ages and with all conditions. Babies can be born with congenital abnormalities, many of which benefit greatly from carefully constructed treatment with the physiotherapist.

Positional Talipes is a very common problem for babies. It can occur when the baby becomes squashed in an unusual position inside the womb during the last few weeks of pregnancy. The feet can be: Turned inwards and upwards Turned outwards and upwards . Curved This condition requires specific stretching exercises.

Erbs Palsy is another problem identified at birth where the baby requires appropriate handling with passive stretching to the affected arm for example fingers, wrist, elbow or shoulder. Babies born with neurological conditions and syndromes will require assessment and follow-up to promote the achievement of developmental milestones.

Baby massage is an area of physiotherapy, which benefits both mother and baby, so give it a try, especially if your baby is suffering from teething pain, colic, constipation or just loves to be cuddled. It will be difficult to know who will be more relaxed, you or your baby. This can take place in your own home on a one to one basis or in a group session with other babies.
A child's physiotherapist loves to have fun. Children are growing all the time and this is why we need to have a full understanding of their musculoskeletal system and the wide variety of conditions affecting children. Each child is an individual and their treatment should reflect this.
