Questions are often asked such as “Why is my child walking on tiptoes?” “Why is he always falling?” It maybe that your child needs a gait assessment and if necessary appropriate advice will be given. Walking can also be affected following a broken bone or periods of time in plaster when the child will need strengthening exercises. This may lead to the child needing to be re-taught how to walk correctly. If this is not addressed in the early stages it can lead to problems as they develop. Phyzi Kidz can assess the child and design a goal orientated treatment plan, specific to the individual.

A child's physiotherapist loves to have fun. Children are growing all the time and this is why we need to have a full understanding of their musculoskeletal system and the wide variety of conditions affecting children. Each child is an individual and their treatment should reflect this.
