TREATMENT METHODS |
Parents are always anxious for their baby to roll, crawl, walk etc. and if they don’t, everybody starts to ask questions. It is at this stage that a baseline physiotherapy assessment may be appropriate to establish if there are any real problems. Often this proves normal, as children develop differently, at different times but it is always best to check. Exercises can be given to help the child achieve, or work towards, their next milestone and assist in their overall gross motor skills. I frequently hear “My baby hates being on his tummy and just screams but now he is 10 months old and will not crawl” – we can help! |

A child's physiotherapist loves to have fun. Children are growing all the time and this is why we need to have a full understanding of their musculoskeletal system and the wide variety of conditions affecting children. Each child is an individual and their treatment should reflect this.
